ADAS Practical Assessment Center

Three different kinds of evidence. Three different records. Show what you know, demonstrate how you reason through invented service cases, and use a separate instructor observation form to assess real work on an actual training vehicle.

Learning evidence

Three lanes. No combined “certified” score.

Knowledge

Not attempted

12 original concept questions; online scored result.
Simulated reasoning

Not attempted

Three invented cases, nine distinct decisions.
Instructor-observed skills

Not recorded online

Observed vehicle work belongs on the separately signed instructor form. This site does not issue a practical pass or credential.
Interpret scores correctly: A knowledge or fictional-case score is not proof that a real vehicle was inspected, repaired, calibrated, road-tested, or released.
Lane 01 · Conceptual knowledge

ADAS knowledge assessment

Answer all twelve questions. Each correct response earns one point. Review your explanations after submission; a new attempt replaces your latest browser-local result. This checkpoint does not import or modify earlier course quiz scores.

Lane 02 · Simulated diagnostic reasoning

Three independent service investigations

Read the fictional intake, inspect all three evidence cards, then make three sequential decisions. Each correct first-try answer earns a point; a corrected answer can teach you but does not restore that point on that attempt. Submit each case separately.

Lane 03 · Instructor-observed performance

Real-vehicle practical observation

This lane cannot be completed by an online button. An instructor must observe the student on an actual training vehicle, with the applicable OEM service information, authorized equipment, a controlled work area, and a vehicle-specific assignment.

Safety & stop-work

Prepare and recognize constraints

Evaluate the actual work environment, voltage support and safe operating conditions. Stop when prerequisites cannot be met.

Vehicle-specific research

Identify and interpret requirements

Find the applicable OEM procedure and establish the required repair, calibration, tooling and post-procedure steps.

Actual execution

Demonstrate the authorized process

Show correct inspection, measurement, setup and any permitted procedure under supervision. Do not substitute illustrative virtual dimensions.

Verification & communication

Document what occurred

Capture genuine results, unresolved issues, limits, corrections, and an accurate handoff. Do not overstate tool completion.

Printable 14-criterion instructor checklist: Use the existing form to record observed versus not observed skills, vehicle identification, OEM reference, required corrections, and instructor signature. A blank form or simulated score is not proof of practical competence.

What the record does—and does not—say

Knowledge: a scored browser-local assessment of conceptual answers. Simulation: a scored record of decisions within authored fictional cases. Practical: a separate instructor-observed and signed form, with no online pass/fail attestation in this build. None of these automatically creates a school credit, industry credential, OEM authorization, real service record, or vehicle release approval.

All real ADAS service decisions—including whether calibration is required, the permitted calibration method, target dimensions, prerequisites, road conditions, and final verification—must follow current vehicle/operation-specific OEM information and applicable workshop safety requirements.
