Fuel-System Explorer
Explore eight parts of the fuel pathway and distinguish storage, electrical control, hydraulic supply, injector action and physical feedback.
Four Fuel Journeys
Follow fuel from tank to combustion, distinguish port and direct injection, and connect complaints to safe diagnostic evidence.
Fuel Command / Delivery Lab · A Pulse Is Not Proof
Explore a fictional relationship model separating an electronic command from hypothetical available fuel and injector function. The factors below are not actual injector flow curves, pressure specifications, valid drive commands or diagnostic thresholds.
The Challenger asks · Can you prove delivery?
A fictional controller doubles its injection pulse from the classroom reference, while the usable-supply factor falls to 50% and the injector factor stays at 100%. Which statement is supported by this model?
Formula in this classroom model only: command index = pulse ÷ 4 ms × 100; delivered index = command index × (usable-supply factor ÷ 100) × (injector-function factor ÷ 100). Actual injectors have nonlinear opening/closing behavior, differential pressure and strategy-dependent timing; this model excludes those effects and cannot determine real fuel flow or injector health.

Fuel-System Decisions
Six fictional shop cases. Inspect the actual injection architecture and safety conditions before deciding what evidence or service step is justified.
07.3 · Knowledge Check
Answer all ten questions to record a browser-local learning score. This is not a vehicle test result, shop authorization, or observed hands-on competence.
