Training assignment, not a vehicle procedure. The instructor must use current, vehicle-specific OEM service information and qualified supervision. 01 · Assignment brief

Use an authorized training vehicle or simulated shop work order involving frontal damage or radar-area repair. Confirm actual sensor configuration and the vehicle maker’s position on damaged brackets, fascia, repairs and calibration.

Stop-work example: Stop on unresolved radar/bracket damage, unapproved repair/refinishing in the sensor zone, or unmet geometry/equipment requirements.

02 · Readiness and safety gates

Mark a gate confirmed only after personally verifying it against the actual vehicle and task. Unmet or unsupported N/A gates require instructor review and may prohibit work.

Readiness not reviewed.

03 · Instructor-observed checkpoints

Record what actually happened; these checkpoints are not a procedural substitute or a fabricated vehicle test. A selected completed status without written evidence remains incomplete.

No observed checkpoints documented.

04 · Review, coaching and disposition

INCOMPLETE / OPEN — not evidence of a completed practical assessment

A recorded assignment does not itself certify the learner, authorize public-road testing, establish calibration success, or release a vehicle. Any actual service and release decision belongs to the authorized service organization.
